I have had a long association with cold climates and adventure, so it may not surprise you that most of my adventures include something to do with snow. I have travelled the World seeking the ultimate adventures which become part of my life journey. These adventures have included scouring the mountains of New Zealand such as Mt Aspiring and peaks in the Southern region. My very limited knowledge of mountaineering then led to bigger mountains and bigger challenges in Nepal successfully summiting Lobouche East and nearly summiting Mt Pumori.

Both these challenges led to my most demanding of all which was summiting Mt Everest (8850m) in May 2012.
